Professor of Missiology, Director OSIMS, Vice-president CEEAMS
Anne-Marie Kool (Hungary/Croatia/The Netherlands) works as Professor of Missiology and head of the Osijek Institute for Mission Studies under the responsibility of the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, Croatia, with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe. She is also Associate Professor at the Baptist Theological Academy in Budapest, Hungary and serves as vice-President of the Central and Eastern European Association for Mission Studies. Since she arrived in Hungary 30 years ago, Anne-Marie has been affiliated with several institutions of higher education, including teaching and researching on church and mission related topics and supervising master and doctoral students in post-communist Central and Eastern Europe. For her PhD, Anne-Marie has researched an unknown chapter in mission history, the Hungarian protestant foreign mission movement. More recently, she is involved in researching the Roma (Gypsy) (Christian) communities in Central and Eastern Europe.

Krisztina is from Budapest, Hungary. She is the communication coordinator for CEEAMS. Krisztina is a marketing professional who works as a freelancer on business and non-profit projects. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics with specialization in Marketing from the University of Miskolc, Hungary and a Master in Business Communication from the John Carroll University, USA. In 2022, she received her Doctorate of Transformational Leadership degree from Bakke Graduate University, USA.
Krisztina is an active member of the Gazdagrét Reformed Church where she serves as an elder and coordinates a women’s group. She is involved in activities of Christian Leaders and Businessmen Association. Krisztina’s research interests are: Christianity and business leadership, women as leaders, Central-Eastern European ethics, and urban mission.
Interpreter and OSIMS Research Assistant
Speranca comes from Osijek, Croatia. She is a proofreader and a translator and works for different organizations in Croatia like the Croatian Baptist Aid. She is currently also working as a research assistant in a CEEAMS project. She is the editor of the Croatian Baptist Women’s magazine Bilten (Psihoorijentir Centar).
Speranca holds an MA in History and Croatian Language and Literature, and Certificates in Christian Counseling from Psihoorijentir Centar from Belgrade. Speranca’s interests are: publishing, faith and identity, gender equality, and Christian counseling.
