Arriving in Osijek by car

For arriving to Osijek from Hungary, choose E73 – the European route Class-A north-south route that connects the central part of the continent, specifically Hungary to Eastern Croatia. It will take you directly to Osijek.

For arriving to Osijek from Romania and Serbia, E70 is the best choice. It is linked to A5 highway called Slavonika that will take you directly to Osijek. For more details, please visit THIS PAGE.

Croatian motorways are tolled, using a ticket system. The toll is payable in either Croatian kuna or euros, and by major credit and debit cards. A prepaid ETC system is also used. State roads in Croatia are not tolled. Once in Osijek, look for Cvjetkova street no. 32 on the map of Osijek to find ETS.

Arriving in Osijek by plain, bus, train

There are several options to reach Osijek by plane. There is an option to use connected flights via Zagreb, Belgrade or Budapest – these cities are well connected with different cities in Europe and the world, or to check direct flights to Osijek airport.

• Shuttle to the city
  The shuttle takes you directly to the Central Bus Station in Zagreb where you can purchase a ticket for one of the regular bus lines connecting Zagreb and Osijek. The earliest departure is at 7.30 in the morning while the latest bus leaves Zagreb at 19.00 in the evening. More information
• Train: If you wish to continue your travel to Osijek by train, after you arrive at the Central Bus station simply take a walk to the Zagreb train station (Kolodvor) which is cca 20 minutes away. There are two trains daily to Osijek: at 7.30 in the morning and at 13.00 in the afternoon. More information

• There are no regular connections between Osijek and Budapest. Balkanviator is an option, but you need to book your sit in advance since this is not a regular bus line, but organized if there are passengers traveling to Osijek.
